What is the cost of the camps and what does it include?

A: The cost of People Outdoors camps vary from camp to camp.

Our camp program costs include:

Support Costs – these are covered through the NDIS package. The NDIS cover the cost of the Disability Support Workers. The support cost also includes the NDIS Temporary Transformation Payment (TTP).
Activity Costs – these are out of pocket costs which need to be paid by the camper/family. These costs cover may include ticket prices and special activity costs.

About Us - Mission and Vision

People Outdoors, a branch of the Australian Camps Association, was established in 1989 to provide outdoor recreation for people of all ages with physical or intellectual disabilities.
Volunteer Opportunities

People Outdoors utilises the services of many dedicated Volunteers and staff to ensure that our programs maintain a high standard. Recruitment of Volunteers is a constant and ongoing process. As the number of different programs that we offer increase, so does our need for more Volunteers!
